Indonesian Diva Performs at Sanur Beach Hotel

Sanur – Bali, January 2005… Indonesian singing sensation, Krisdayanti, recently performed a selection of hits before an excited crowd at Sanur Beach Hotel’s Wantilan Convention Centre.

Ms. Krisdayanti was welcomed upon arrival to the hotel by General Manager, Mr. Christoph Voegal who surprised the pop princess with his youth and ability to run such a large property. Mr. Voegeli was equally impressed by Krisdayanti’s easy-going manner and that she made time to have a chat despite her busy schedule.

This was Krisdayanti’s first visit to the hotel, which is located within the sleepy village of Sanur and renowned for its timeless charm and beauty. Ms. Krisdayanti, unaware that Sanur was such a lovely destination, was pleased that the hotel had managed to maintain a traditional Balinese appeal.

The performance proved to be a huge success and excited fans were treated to some of Krisdayanti’s most popular hits, including love ballads that were written by the ‘Diva’s’ husband, guitarist Anang. A standing ovation saw Krisdayanti return to the stage for a farewell song dedicated to the audience.
